Key Responsibilities
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Inspect heavy equipment to identify faults and malfunctions
- Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment problems
- Diagnose faults using computerized and other testing equipment
- Determine the extent of repairs required
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective components
- Perform repair and maintenance work on heavy trucks
- Service equipment attachments and working tools
- Repair and maintain farm equipment and machinery
- Attach components and adjust new farm equipment

Essential requirements needed for the job include the following:
Education
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience

Licences and Certifications
