Baptistcare WA is currently seeking a committed and detail-oriented Cleaner (Housekeeper) to join our team at the David Buttfield Centre in Gwelup, a 105-bed aged care facility. In this casual role, you’ll be a key part of creating a home-like, comfortable atmosphere for our residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities
As a Cleaner at our Gwelup facility, your duties will include:
- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard
- Assisting with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding
- Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Assisting with the movement of furniture, bins, and equipment as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness across all areas, ensuring safety and infection control standards are met
- Completing required documentation and shift paperwork
- Upholding food safety standards in relevant areas
- Supporting the overall health, safety, and wellbeing of residents and staff
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be physically capable of handling a busy and demanding workload
- Be flexible and responsive to changing priorities
- Be eligible to work in Australia
- Be willing to undergo pre-employment checks, including:
- National Police Clearance
- Reference checks
- WWCC or NDIS Worker Screening (if applicable)
- Pre-employment medical examination
