RESPONSIBILITIES
Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Interpreting welding process specifications
- Reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications
- Operating manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment
- Examining welds to ensure they meet required standards and specifications
- Operating flame-cutting equipment
- Fitting, brazing, and torch-straightening metal components
- Determining weldability of materials
- Operating hoisting and lifting equipment
- Fabricating or repairing metal parts and products
- Performing minor maintenance and repairs on welding and related equipment

EXPERIENCE & SPECIALIZATION
Requirements
- Trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of welding experience
- Ability to work on-site (no remote option)
- Experience working with steel, iron, and heavy metals
Ideal Skills & Qualities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and handling materials up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
