ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Plumber with Rip Rap Plumbing & Heating Ltd., you’ll install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.
This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role offering $35.50 per hour, along with extended health benefits including dental, vision, and medical coverage.
You’ll work 40 hours per week, with duties performed across various locations and job environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Plumber, you will:
- Install plumbing fixtures and systems (domestic, commercial, industrial)
- Repair and maintain existing plumbing systems and fixtures
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan system layouts
- Locate, measure, and mark pipe connections and fixture positions
- Cut openings in walls and floors for pipe installation
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes
- Join pipes using clamps, couplings, bolts, cement, soldering, welding, and brazing tools
- Test pipes for leaks using water and air pressure gauges
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
You’ll work with:
- Hand and power tools for cutting, threading, and joining pipes
- Soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
- Air and water pressure gauges

- Wet or damp environments
- Heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the job you will need to have:
Education:
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 5 years or more in the plumbing trade
Certificates & Licences:
- Plumber Trade Certification (mandatory)
Skills & Qualities:
- Strong oral and written communication
- Efficient interpersonal skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Reliability and professionalism
- Ability to handle heavy loads
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities
Languages:
- English
Other Requirements:
