RESPONSIBILITIES
Your daily duties as an electrician may include:
- Provide professional customer service
- Install underground wiring and cables
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations
- Splice, join and connect wires
- Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults and circuit integrity
- Troubleshoot and isolate electrical faults
- Estimate costs and materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Perform installation, repair and maintenance work in residential and commercial settings
