RESPONSIBILITIES
Your daily duties as a baker may include:
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet baked goods
- Prepare batters for muffins, cookies, cakes, and other bakery items
- Prepare icings and frostings according to recipes or customer orders
- Bake mixed doughs and batters
- Prepare special customer orders
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Develop and maintain production schedules
- Ensure products meet established quality standards
- Inspect kitchen and food preparation areas
- Operate bakery equipment and machinery safely
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the workplace
