RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main duties as a Store Manager – Retail may include:
- Direct and control daily retail operations
- Evaluate daily store operations
- Plan and organize daily activities
- Manage staff and assign duties
- Study market research and current trends
- Determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes
- Monitor the impact of competitors’ operations on sales
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold
- Implement pricing and credit policies
- Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
